A Note from the Founder

Why I Created EVE

I created EVE because I know what it feels like to be silenced.

Growing up gay in the South, I learned early how to hide — how to shrink, how to survive. Later, as a nurse working in operating rooms, at the bedside in a psychiatric hospital, and now in public health, I watched those same patterns play out in healthcare: people ignored, misnamed, misunderstood, and mistreated — simply because of who they are.

EVE is my answer to that silence.

It’s a place where every story matters. Every voice counts. And every tool we build is designed to protect dignity and dismantle bias — especially for those who’ve been erased by the system.

I didn’t set out to start a company.

I set out to build something sacred.
